Mango Bikes – Live again
Quirky promo film for Mango Bikes, an urban bike brand based in Northern Ireland
The idea is partly a cheeky nod to the fact that the brand (under original owners) effectively “died” in 2017 as it went into administration. It was brought back from the dead by the new Northern Ireland based owner at the start of this year.
As well as celebrating the joy of cycling, it’s a cheeky reference to the fact that the Mango bikes brand nearly ceased to exist in 2017 after going into admistration. Current owner Andrew Hassard brought the brand back from the dead after buying it from the administrator.
“Mango bikes is all about the joy of cycling, we aren’t about obsessing over fine technical details. We want you to get out, enjoy the road or trail and appreciate what makes cycling fun in the first place. Mango makes great bikes for people who love life, especially when two wheels are involved. If you haven’t been out on a bike in years, buy a Mango bike and live again.” – Andrew Hassard, Owner – Mango Bikes
The video was shot in and near the business park in Larne where Mango is based. Check out the behind the scenes video and photos below:
